Work backwards - Know your metrics

You must know your metrics. You must "Work Backwards".
Breaking it down to 3-5 daily tasks is much easier than saying, "I have to make $100k" (or whatever your yearly income goal is).
Step 1: Divide $100k (or whatever your yearly income goal is) BY 50 WEEKS. (giving you a weekly amount, in this case $2000 WEEKLY)
Step 2: What is your profit per sale? Take that number and divide it into $2000 (or whatever your weekly amount is) to get sales needed per week.
Step 3: How many prospects do you need to speak with to get 1 sale? This ratio will get better as your closing skills refine and improve.
Step 4: How many leads do you need to generate to get 1 person to speak with?
Step 5: What tasks do you need to do to generate that number of leads?
This is called "Working Backwards".
Focusing on small daily tasks is the way to do it. Whatever you want to make per year, just plug in that number and re-calculate your daily tasks.
