It is true that having as many ads (active 24/7) on as many individual advertising sites as possible is always most ideal. And that safelist mailers will produce more leads, more often. This is why we suggest that you use safelist mailers to promote for yourself.
However, the purpose of Team spirit PROMO advertising is to produce as many "Hits" as possible (more Team exposure in general) in the least amount of time as possible. Traffic exchanges provide a faster, easier and a more fun way of doing that!..
But before we even get started, there are a couple of things you should set up for yourself
that will help you, before you ever get started with using free traffic and advertising sites.
The first is to create (at least one) new Gmail acct. You need to think about what you are about to get into here. You will be registering as a member of an advertising site. For traffic exchanges you will likely only receive an email from Admin, maybe one a day. But when you get to safelist mailers... you will be receiving "mailer ads" from all the other members. And this will easily become 100's of emails per day, very quickly. *Best to have a Gmail (email) specifically for using with traffic and advertising sites.

Note: if you will be using more than 1* Gmail for advertising sites (or already have been?..) update your Gravatar on all of them.
Many of today's most popular ad sites will display a profile pic (if there is one) of the member who's ad is being viewed.
YOU don't want to be ??empty profile pic?? person. You want the other ad site members to see you and recognize you.
For Example: How did you find "us" Here?.. The most likely scenario is that you made the decision to request more information about us after seeing a familiar lead capture page... and more importantly... because you have been seeing the same person promoting the page for long enough, that you finally became comfortable enough to subscribe and come learn more about us.
Simple right* things (as minimal as they seem) will most often determine if you start moving forward or if you will stay stuck.
