Here comes Santa Claus? As much as I would usually choose to lament just how quickly time flies by, I think many of you will wholeheartedly agree with my sentiment that this year of 2020 is not ending soon enough.
Especially for us here at Rock Team, we were riding high heading into the end of January and everything was rockin and rollin along. Then came more talk about this thing called COVID-19, and within a few short weeks, life as we knew it was suddenly an end of days.
While the pseudo voodoo gurus online were proclaiming how "once in a lifetime" impactful the pandemic would prove to be in the make money from home niche... that didn't exactly happen as promised.
Not only that, but from around March 1st until the middle of May... I was watching as our momentum began trending down at an alarming rate. During just that 75 or so day stretch, my own personal referral downlines suffered a fall-out rate of nearly 5o% and most all of my other online affiliate marketing projects bottomed out to practically zero sales.
Ironically enough (and fitting for the year 2020), it was not until the historically dreadful months of "Dog Days of Summer" when the first positive signs of a return to activity in our niche took place. For the first time in all of my 10+ years as an affiliate and affiliate/referral marketer... June was the 1st month to significantly trend... up??
Unfortunately, then came July 2020 which was like a bad July on steroids and another free-fall took place. That little hiccup had me very concerned. Thank goodness August ended that 2nd downward spiral. Again, little by little, it has taken from then, until today, to finally be anywhere near the previous high marks (all areas and all sales) that had been achieved... in June??
On a positive note, from September until today all key indicators have been consistently trending as arrows up, or at the very least have proven to hold near to flat. Trust me... this news is way more exciting than it sounds. Also, during this same time I am confident we have released some of our coolest Rock Funnels ever... and I am confident that if the mood online in general would be anywhere near the "old normal", that an increase in results would have been obvious. The reason I am confident to make that claim is that after recently updating the designs of our "Team spirit" PROMO pages... the clicks/leads activity is "almost" back to what it had been at the very beginning of this year.
The difference between what is happening now with Team pages vs. why Rock funnels are still slow to come alive again is obvious. ***Everyone promotes Team spirit pages and not everyone chooses to promote the Rock funnels. There is a consistency of day-to-day traffic (visitors) seeing Team spirit pages, which shows Rock "Team" as something that really "is" something.
On that note: I have decided to NOT DO IT as far as promoting an all-new Admin "special offer" page. I'm glad I decided to drag my feet on that idea for an extra few days, because I reminded myself that no matter how badly I want to begin kick-starting some obvious momentum for everyone on the team... the only *right way, has to be the Rockstar! way...
